How many pages fit on a CD?
A four-drawer file cabinet (approx. 15,000 8.5" x 11" black and white pages) per disc

Must I keep my data on a CD?
No, it can be transferred to your hard-drive, any logical storage device, or placed on the Internet.

What if I find a misfiled document or need to add to a folder?

No problem, we keep a copy of your CD's…we can add or delete data to your folder and give you a new CD

How fast can we get our documents converted to a CD?
Turn around time depends on the volume of documents you have and the level of service requested. Basically, we will pick-up an economic quantity and will devise a schedule that meets your needs. Remember, you can call us if you need a folder and we will retrieve and either e-mail you the information or overnight the folder.

Do I need special training to use a document CD?
No special training is required to view or print the documents. Most computer users are able to get results immediately via the viewer that comes with Windows 95, 98,2000 and ME operating systems.

Is electronic imaging accepted as a legal conforming document?
Yes, the NY State and NJ Banking and Finance Department, S.E.C., IRS, etc. approve CD/R electronic storage as an acceptable means of compliance. Check with your Legal counsel before you advise us to cross cut shred the documents.

Does this provide our company with Document Disaster Recovery and Data Continuity capabilities?
Absolutely your valuable records are now all committed to digital images. We suggest the second copy that we provide should be kept off-site.

What about microfilm/microfiche conversion services?
We can convert your microfilm/microfiche to electronic images. You will be able to retrieve it from computer as if it were a scanned paper document. We can make it PDF searchable if requested.

What is Print on Demand?
The creation of a book created from the data that We Scan Paper has converted to Digital form and a Hard or Soft covered Book can be created. It can be ordered on the internet and therefore it is an ideal method to become a Fund Raiser for such events as Historical Societies, Schools, Charities, etc.
